Booster Club End of Year Checklist – 2024 Edition
It’s hard to believe that 2024 is juuuuust about over! As the winter breaks commence,
A quieter week this week – at least as far as big updates go! Part of the reason is juggling Fall break and working on the road, while trying not to work 🙂 That being said, even though the updates were not as visible a lot was still happening!
The primary focus for the week was working on improving the interface for Booostr Newsletter Tool. After having been live for over a year (YAY!) the Newsletter tools was definitely in need of some system upgrades. Since we planned to update the system, we thought it would be an IDEAL time to make some updates and modifications to the interface to make it oh so much more fun to use!
Â
Â
One of the things we did wrong with the Newsletter Tool was making it too technical! There is a lot that can be done with bulk email sending around parameters, settings and testing – but to be honest much of it gets extremely granular in nature. So this week we ripped through the interface and simplified multiple steps and features so that the Email Campaign Creation process is now SO EASIER to use! Don’t worry we didn’t LOSE any tracking or features, we just adjusted things by automating settings that we were offering as a default selected option, and now are just an is – because you really do not want to track bot opens of your email, so why would you say yes to including them?
One of the major updates we did make to the Newsletter Tool was integrating the Form Manager Tool into the Email Marketing Tool. This integration allows you to connect/add form linking directly into your emails. Instead of going to the form tool, grabbing the landing page link, now you can simply choose the form you want to add to your email and the shortcode will link it for you! A fantastic improvement in email usability AND a HUGE time saver!

In addition to updating the Newsletter Tool, we also added a bunch of new support Knowledge Base (KB) documentation. The KB is an ongoing effort to provide organizations easy access to answered to common issues they may have or encounter with the system. For instance, how do I create a Donation Campaign? :). If your organization is using Booostr, you should really check out the Support Site – it’s far from complete, but absolutely helpful. Plus we always welcome feedback!
Â
In addition to the updates to the Newlsetter tool and updates to the Support Site, the team has also made significant progress in the following areas:
To continue our shift to transparent and open development of the platform, we also want to share some of the immediate things are that we are working on releasing.
Â
While the week was a bit slower by our standards, we are still making a ton of progress improving the application and in general making the tools much more user friendly! If your organization is currently utilizing Booostr, take the updated Newsletter Tool for a spin and let us know what you think! Thank you again for coming along on our journey!
