Booster Club End of Year Checklist – 2024 Edition
It’s hard to believe that 2024 is juuuuust about over! As the winter breaks commence,
The holidays are coming up quick and we can already feel the end of the year approaching. We have continued to make a lot of headway after the Halloween / Diwali / Day of the Dead holiday. We are still in the throes of some major tool releases, but in the mean time we have been able to continue to make some key updates and tweaks this week to improve the overall system.
After we released the NEW form manager updates earlier this week, there were still a number of updates that we were pushing to wrap up. We have broken down the rest of the week’s updates below.
If you haven’t checked out the new updates to the Form Manager, you should! From increased form style customization (addition of ability to add a header image), to updating the file upload functionality, and improving the form embed code- these are all huge updates we are very proud of! Take the IMPROVED form manager tool for a spin today.
Even with the launch of the updated form manager features, we still pressed on with additional updates and fixes ranging from password reset to some major updates to the email marketing tool. Furthermore we continued to expand the Calendar tool functionality as well as the form tool elements updates. More details below.
We have been giving the Newsletter Management Tool some attention recently. In our ongoing effort to make the email system more user friendly and just easier to use – we updated a lot of the tools and interface to streamline the system. Now many of the more technical settings have been pre-set and removed from the email creation flow. The net result is a much better and easier system to use!
After the latest release of the Calendar tool, we added some additional functionality to allow profile managers the ability to embed their club’s event calendar on external websites and pages. Now within the settings tab, there is simple Embed code that can be copied and applied to pages and sites that will accept it. Once the calendar is embedded, the events sync over from the Event Manager tool.
We followed the last Form Manager Update with an update to the Paragraph form element. To give profile managers additional styling options we updated the Paragraph element to allow additional text/font styling options in a WYSIWYG visual editor. Now form landing pages have more functionality to allow for additional form styling.
In addition to the updates detailed above, the team has also made some significant progress in the following areas:
To continue our shift to transparent and open development of the platform, we also want to share some of the immediate things are that we are working on releasing.
Even with a short week, we try to use our time as best we can! The entire team here made a lot of fantastic progress, which we expect you to be able to try out next week!
